Jeff “Coach Tree” Rountree founded OnePoint Insurance Partners out of the same Orange Park agency he still runs every day. What started as one local commercial agency became a platform built to give independent agents the markets, programs, and technology the big shops keep to themselves.
The Rountree Agency is the pilot agency of OnePoint — everything we build is tested here first, on our own clients, before it ever reaches another agent.
Family is at the center of it all. Jeff and Cheryl met in the 6th grade — a love story decades in the making — and that same loyalty shows up in how this agency treats its clients. Their son Chase Rountree graduated from the University of North Alabama as MVP of The Steele Center of Professional Selling — proof that the next generation is already carrying the same commitment to relationships, service, and results.
That connection came from one lunch. Robert H. Steele believed in Chase enough to help open the door at UNA, and that act of mentorship grew into a true partnership. Today, The Steele Agency — led by Robert and Remington Steele — is a OnePoint subsidiary, and the same cutting board the Rountrees gave Robert now marks the beginning of a collaboration built on trust.
